Do you fit electric motorised retractable towbars?
Not yet. Currently these are only available on certain vehicles and only via the main dealerships, but as soon as we get our hands on them we’ll be on it!
Are detachable towbars as strong as fixed towbars?
Yes, removable towbars are as strong as fixed towbars and in both cases the load capacity will exceed the vehicle’s towing capacity. Fixed towbars are more common for vans and pickups because some commercial trailers need a ball and pin towball which can’t be fitted to a detachable towbar.
Are detachable towbars lockable?
Yes, all our detachable towbars come with a key which locks the neck so it can’t be stolen.
