Which battery does a Ford Focus take?
It depends on the generation and the engine: the Ford Focus has been built with 6 battery sizes (063, 065, 075, 096, 100, 110). The newest first:
- Focus MK 4 (2018–now): size 096, 100 or 110 (EFB)
- Focus MK 3 (2014–2018): size 110, 100 or 096 (EFB); size 075, 110, 100 or 063 (standard)
- Focus (2004–2016): size 100 or 110 (standard; with stop-start AGM, or EFB on some versions); size 075 or 065 (standard)
- Focus (1998–2005): size 075 or 100 (standard)
Cars with stop-start need a stop-start battery (EFB or AGM), never a standard one: it would wear out within months. If your car takes AGM, it needs AGM again.

Does my Ford Focus need an AGM battery?
If it came with AGM, yes: an EFB or standard battery would wear out quickly. If it has stop-start and came with EFB, EFB is right and an AGM is an optional upgrade. Without stop-start, a standard battery is right. The table above shows what each version was built with.
Do you take the old battery?
Yes. We take your old battery away and recycle it free, and every battery we fit has a 4-year warranty.
