Fitted properly, not just sold
Most of what sits on the shelves at Carey Road can be fitted while you wait or booked in, and that is the part people tend to underestimate. An accessory that is wired into a vehicle — a camera, a sensor, a hands-free kit, towing electrics — interacts with the car’s electrical system, and modern vehicles are far less forgiving of a poor connection than older ones were.
A badly fitted accessory can drain a battery, throw a dashboard warning, interfere with an existing system, or simply stop working the first time the car goes through a puddle. Fitting is where the difference between a good job and a cheap one actually shows.
The counter also carries the ordinary things a car needs between services — bulbs, wiper blades, batteries, oils, screen wash, cleaning products, tools and workshop consumables — so a job that turns out to need a part rarely means a second trip somewhere else.

Do you fit what you sell?
Yes. Most accessories can be fitted at the Bulwell workshop, and fitting is what stops an electrical accessory becoming a problem later.
Can you fit an accessory I bought elsewhere?
Tell us what it is and what vehicle it is going on, and we can confirm whether we can fit it and what is involved.
Will fitting an accessory affect my warranty?
A properly fitted accessory should not, but it depends on the vehicle and the manufacturer. If you are unsure, check the terms of your warranty before booking.
Do I need an appointment?
Some jobs can be done while you wait and others are better booked in. Call or book online and we will tell you which yours is.
