The Blue Spot Tools One Handed 150mm (6″) Ratchet Clamp enables the operator to clamp using one hand. The clamp features a ball socket joint for clamping uneven or angled surfaces and workpieces, to release just push the lever on the back of the handle and pull back the hooked sliding bar.

Understanding the sizes
Ratchets and bars are described by drive size and length. A higher tooth count means a finer swing arc, so a 72-tooth ratchet needs only five degrees of movement before it engages again — which matters when working in a confined space.
Working with ratchet
Length is leverage: a long power bar breaks a seized fastener that a short ratchet never will, but a ratchet is far quicker once the bolt is moving. Use the bar to crack it and the ratchet to wind it out. Never extend a ratchet with a pipe — that is what breaks the mechanism.
