Designed to be used in the electrical field for cleaning of connectors and terminals etc but are the ideal tools to be used where fine filing is needed, especially model making. Blades that are 6mm, 9mm and 15mm wide and 83mm long with an overall length of 193mm are perfect for getting into hard to access areas.

Understanding the sizes
Abrasives are specified by size and grit. A lower grit number is coarser and removes material faster; a higher number leaves a finer finish.
Working with abrasive
Work through the grits rather than trying to jump straight to a fine finish — each grade removes the scratches left by the one before. On a flap disc, work at a shallow angle of 10 to 15 degrees and keep it moving: laid flat it glazes, stood on edge it gouges.
