Understanding the sizes
Air tools are specified by drive or connection size and their air requirement. Output depends on the compressor keeping up — an undersized compressor is the usual reason a tool underperforms.
Working with air tool
Oil the tool through the inlet before use unless it is an oil-free type, and drain the compressor receiver regularly so water does not reach the tool. Keep hose runs as short and as wide as practical: long thin hose costs pressure.
