The Blue Spot Tools 12 PCE Sanding And Preparation Set contains a range of buffing, stripping and sandpaper discs that are ideal for deburring, polishing and preparing a range of surfaces. Convenient quick change design allows fast multi step work. For use with electric and air tools. The 1/4″ quick change mandrel is suitable for use with all the discs in the set and saves time when moving between the different grits. The flexible nature of the discs means they are highly suitable for use on intricate areas.

Understanding the sizes
Abrasives are specified by size and grit. This set covers 60, 80, 100, 120, 40 and 120 grit. A lower grit number is coarser and removes material faster; a higher number leaves a finer finish.
Working with abrasive
Work through the grits rather than trying to jump straight to a fine finish — each grade removes the scratches left by the one before. On a flap disc, work at a shallow angle of 10 to 15 degrees and keep it moving: laid flat it glazes, stood on edge it gouges.
